50% Medium Grade
This is the standard mix that is suitable for a wide variety of plants. It consists of 50% peat moss and 50% medium grade perlite. It's versatile with a wide range of plant and pot sizes.

60% Fine Grade
This mix contains 40% peat moss and 60% fine grade perlite. It's best used with small pots, such as 3-inch and 4-inch pots. It is also a good mix for growing plants in desert climates to regulate soil temperature.

All soil is guaranteed to be free of fertilizers and other contaminants that may harm carnivorous plants. One gallon of soil will fill:

  • two 6-inch pots or
  • six 4-inch pots or
  • twelve 3-inch pots

There is a limit of 6 gallons per order.  Multiple orders of soil will not be combined. 

If you need large quantities, consider purchasing ingredients in bulk from your local garden center. You can also try Amazon or Greenhouse Megastore.

Below is a list of ingredients with recommended brands that are free of fertilizers and other contaminants. However, always check the package and avoid products that contain fertilizer.

    On march 14th 2019 i received the sarracenia judith hindle. It seened like all of it's pre existing pitchers were cut off (most likely for shipping purposes、but still i would have liked a plant with a bit of color on it). Its new growing pitcher is now about 1 inch tall with 2 other small pitcher forming. Overall i am pleased with my purchase.
