I guess that one could give a bag of mix a 5 star rating if they've had a prior experience with bags of soil. I haven't but since I love my new Canebrake so much I figure a 5 star rating isn't too much to give.
Works very well! I keep the rest of the dirt next to the plants so I can add more as it compacts and breaks down. The perlite turns brown in my light but I think that is normal.
bought one of each of those species and I must say I love this soil mix. Def quality and my plants are loving it. Thank you guys!!
The soil mix was needed to help nurse a venus flytrap back to health. The flytrap was purchased at a grocery store so you know it wasn't getting the best resources. I transplanted it to a new pot with this soil mix and I'm happy to say that it is doing quite well now.
The potting mix is of good quality. My only concern is that the perlite was too large fo the Droseras I repotted. I ended up straining the mix to filter out the larger perlite particles.
Excelent quality everyone should use it for carnivorous plants!
I have always received quality service and products. Plants are always well packed.
