My pitcher plants are amazing
This is my first carnivorous plant order. I was do excited about my plant and have been following the directions to care for it. Can't wait to place my next order.
This species produces substantial traps, flushed with rich reds and maroons, up to a foot tall. The jaunty, pointed lids are coppery, undulating, and raised a noticeable distance from the mouth. A thin lip dips into a pronounced, spouted "v". Leaves last well into winter, often assuming a nearly black complexion by December. Gulfensis enjoy the warm, muggy weather of midsummer with a long growing season. Look for red flowers with a charming rosy scent in mid to late spring.

It look great and is looking very happy in water and the hot weather
My S. rubra gulfensis arrived in great shape with vibrant colors. I notice HUGE wasps hanging out by it...must be irresistible to them! Cannot wait to watch it grow a bit bigger.
Well, after I ran into the YouTube channel and I really wanted to grown the Carnivorous plants. I had order few of the plants from Sarracenia Northwest nursery to started. The plants arrived alive , well packed and the plants were in excellent condition. So far, here in Texas the weather still warm and the plants are putting out more pitchers- I couldn’t be any more happy than that to see my plants are doing so well! Thank you for being excellency growers!
Thank you for sending me a beautiful plant. I ordered Rubra gulfensis, but this one was out of stock, so you replaced it with a Rubra Jonesii. Beautiful plant and very healthy. I appreciate. God bless.
