This plant was created by Sarracenia hybridist Jerry Addington. Records of its parentage were lost, but the plant appears to have features of Sarracenia leucophylla and S. oreophila. It produces a nice set of pitchers in early season in which the pitchers are lighter in color and the mouth opening is much rounder. In late season, it produces another set of pitchers that are slightly darker. The mouth also develops a more pointed spout. Overall, it's a robust grower that clumps up relatively quickly.
