Sarracenia flava cuprea, Towering Inferno
The common form of S. flava cuprea, commonly called copper top, typically grows to 2 feet tall. This giant form gets up to 3 feet tall. Some growers have recorded up to 4 feet, but they grew their plants in a greenhouse. In a more natural setting outdoors, we've recorded only 3 feet. Regardless, this plant is very impressive to see in person because it simply towers over other plants. Our stock mother plants originated from fellow carnivorous plant grower, Wes Buckner.
