Sarracenia alata Night is known for its dark pitchers. S. Leah Wilkerson is known for its heft, tall, colorful pitchers. We held onto these seedlings a bit longer than usual because we were interested in seeing how plants would turn out. We were not disappointed. We plan to repeat this cross again in the future but with our even darker S. alata Orthus.
Appearance will differ from plant to plant. Selection is done randomly. Last two photos show the parent plants.
