    Small but pretty

A beautiful plant! It is a beautiful pink, and has long, beautiful leaves. It was much smaller than I expected, and not as vigorous as some plants (maybe that's because it's growing next to Drosera adelae and D. spatulata) but still a nice plant. It even had offsets!

It was a little smaller than I expected, but it has been quickly growing. I also got a bonus second plant in the pot too. Thanks!

    Growing well

No shock, and seems ready to send up a bloom spike soon. Cannot think of any negatives.

Easy to grow, easy to propagate

My Aphrodite arrived in fine shape, with a second smaller plant growing directly beside the larger main plant. I gently removed a few leaves that were ready to go, and was rewarded with new growth on the leaf cuttings in a few weeks - nice! The Aphrodite arrived with a nice purplish tint to its leaves, but although it seems to be growing well the newer leaves are much greener. I have to assume the short days this time of the year in Indiana are close to its minimum light needs, even if it is in a nicely exposed south window. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to try out butterworts - SNW's care guide DVD even says this one can grow continuously without dormancy quite well, if that's what you're into.

    Beautiful ping

Shortly after receiving it, it seemed to go into a short sleep. Smaller leaves, but still catching prey. About a week ago it began growing larger leaves again and has started catching insects left and right.

The plant was slightly worn from shipping, to be expected but bounced back more than quickly and is happily blooming with its gorgeous purple flower!
