Nice beautiful pitchers
These are growing like weeds on my front porch. I have them in hanging pots where they get good sun morning and evening but are protected during the afternoon heat. Eating loads of bugs and doing great.
Pitchers on this plant are very colorful - bright red-orange mottling against a creamy-yellow background. They are uniquely cone-shaped, almost lantern-like. Nepenthes aristolochioides x thorelii is a very robust grower. It readily produces a long vine with multiple basal shoots and grows awesomely as a houseplant. Pitchers on an adult plant can are typically 6-8 inches.

This plant was too young to have pitchers just yet, but it came well packaged and it wont be long before the first pitchers form . I look at it everyday to see how much it has grown! Looking forward to hanging it outside once the night temperatures are steady above 60 degrees F
I’ve had this plant for 3 years now and it is my fastest growing Nepenthes. At the time of purchase it was my very first Nepenthes so I can say without a doubt that this hybrid is great for a less experienced Nepenthes grower. It was also very forgiving of a few of my beginner grower mistakes. And the rate at which it grows is phenomenal! In the first year and a half the vines grew a little over 6 feet in length and ran across my kitchen ceiling. In the 3 years I’ve had it I’ve taken nineteen 3-leaf cuttings and the plant is still over 3ft tall. The pitchers on mine have grown to just over 7 inches showing off those humpback characteristics. This is hybrid is absolutely fantastic!!
Plant came with 2 cups. One has died but the other seems the be thriving. No new pots but hoping for the best.
My order shipped pretty quickly and the plant I received far exceeded my expectations. It was large and had a few pitchers on it. The pitchers it has since developed in my care have been very vibrant, with a bright red lip with very subtle stripes and a body with dark red spots over a yellow green. The pitchers are very air balloon shaped and not as elongated but will probably transition into full uppers very soon, they look more intermediate at the moment. It seems that this hybrid might be affected by temperature for its color as the newest pitchers are more colorful compared to the already very colorful pitchers previous that it had arrived with. My conditions are very cool (below 60°F at night and 73°F during the day). But, I’m sure this hybrid would be fine even down to lowland conditions, it might be easier to grow than a Ventrata!
I love the shape of these pitchers! Very whimsical. The plant is much bigger than expected it to be. Very happy!
I love this plant as always it's growing fast and was very quickly acclimated when it arrived
Absolutely stunning as always
Beautiful plant! It's been producing pitchers continuously ever since it arrived in the mail.
I ordered two (one is for my grandma) and not only did they both arrive with multiple pitchers, but one has two growth points! I’ve heard these guys are EXTREMELY vigorous so I c any wait to eat them grow.
Great packaging. Healthy plant. Gifting plant, easy to take care of. Vine needs room to grow
