Pitchers of this hybrid are adorably tubby and very brightly colored in a deep red splotching. The incredible berry-red peristome is moderately flared and slightly scalloped, with prominent ridges. Larger traps on this plant are around 5 inches tall, and just a little over half as wide. Long, wiry tendrils and narrow green leaves are a great contrast to the gorgeous, hefty pitchers.

• Acclimated for windowsill growing.

General Care
Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for indoor growing.
Native Habitat: Rainforests of Southeast Asia.
Sunlight: Very bright filtered sunlight.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less). Allow water to drain through.
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite. No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.

    As always, SNW continues to supply my addiction to carnivorous plants. The Nepenthes I've received from them have been nothing short of spectacular. They grow extremely well, pitcher very fast, and are hardy growers. They will always on my short list of places to get plants.

    these arrived perfectly packed in mint condition. They are growing, so far so good, the baby pitchers are starting to grow, I believe this plant had to acclimate to my area, the subtropics, and its now starting to grow more leaves and I can see the pitchers starting to form, I'm so excited to see these get bigger. I will definitely be ordering more from this company!

    The Nepenthes ventricosa x talangensis pitcher plant is very healthy and has done exceptionally well in the short time I have had it. It is quite content, has new leaves and fits in well with my other Pitcher plants.     This plant is amazing! It isn't quite producing pitchers yet, but the vine is growing like crazy and there are seven little nubs that might pitcher once it adapts to my climate a bit.
