Nepenthes spectabilis x talangensis (Rooted Cutting)
At first, we were skeptical about this hybrid because the parent plants can be a bit fussy. But, after growing it in our greenhouse for several years, we became pleasantly surprised how well the plant adapted to a variety of growing conditions. Thank goodness for hybrid vigor! The plant produces colorful mottled pitchers with striped peristomes. The brownish red blotches pairs nicely with the creamy yellow background. This plant seems to grow well as a houseplant and produces pitchers very readily.

Impressed
I have gotten a few plants now from sarracenia northwest and am always very happy. I just opened this one today and am blown away. Its already almost a foot tall with 4 fully developed pitchers on it. I was expecting a plant that didnt have any pitchers yet. Extremely impressed and satisfied. The colors on this pitcher plant are amazing.
