This species has very elegant pitchers - tall and slender with a bulbous base. But, the plant is best known for "eye spots" located inside the the back of each pitcher. It grows well as a houseplant, but may need slightly warm nights and bright conditions for it to produce pitchers consistently. The clone we have has streaks of red infused throughout the pitcher.
