Nepenthes platychila x lowii

The upper pitchers of this hybrid take after N. lowii; they're funnel-shaped with an upright lid. The peristome features light yellow and dark orange stripes. The body of the pitcher is creamy yellow. One of the more unusual pitchers in our collection.

Sunlight: Bright filtered to partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
