General Care

Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for windowsill growing.
Native Habitat: Rainforests of Southeast Asia.
Sunlight: Very bright filtered sunlight.  
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).  Allow water to drain through.
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite.  No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day.  Nighttime drop of 10°-15° is recommended.  Always protect from frost.

    The Nepenthes I ordered arrived promptly and was extremely well-packaged to ensure the plant arrived in good health. It has only been a few weeks but already I see new growth on the plant.
