Nepenthes maxima x jacquelineae, EP (Rooted Cutting)

This wonderful plant was produced from seed by the fine folks at Exotic Plants. Other growers have replicated this cross, but this particular clone is another fine example of Exotica Plants' commitment to high quality breeding. Its urn-shaped pitchers are adorned with dark maroon splotches and a thick, dark peristome. Once this plant settles into its new environment, it produces a hefty number of pitchers. It's one of our most prolific plants.

Pitcher Size: Up to 6-8 inches.
Sunlight: Bright filtered to partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day; 60°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
