Never any problems...Another nice healthy plant, well packed and promptly shipped!
This plant gets its name, albomarginata, from the white band that appears just beneath the lip of each pitcher. The plant produces a long vine with slender leaves from which elongated slender pitchers appear. While pitchers are commonly green, this rare variant features very dark pitchers that some growers refer to as black. Once it acclimates to its environment, this plant has proven to grow well as a regular houseplant in a very sunny windowsill with direct sunlight.

My Nepenthes albomarginata Black arrived on-time and in great condition. It was very well-packed and hasn’t skipped a beat, already growing a couple of new leaves.

The little guy was shipped to PA in mid February, but arrived safely because of the great care taken by Sarracenia Northwest to package it. Plant immediately continued to open a new leaf and is coloring up a light reddish shade under artificial lighting at 12,000 lux 14 hours per day until I can put it in a room that is being worked on to have a skylight. Very happy to have this rare black variety of nepenthes for my collection. Buy with confidence!
Outstanding packaging, healthy plants, courteous customer service.
In perfect health, looking forward to pitchers
