Garden Plants - Sunlight
During the growing season (spring and summer), how much sunlight can you provide for your carnivorous plants?
•
Full Sun: six or more hours of direct sunlight.
(This is the same type of sunlight for tomatoes, herbs, roses and fruit trees.)
• Partial Sun: four to six hours of direct sunlight throughout the day.
(This is the same type of sunlight for primroses, rhododendrons, hydrangea, foxglove and irises.)
• Full Shade to Partial Sun: less than four hours of direct sunlight throughout the day.
(This is the same type of sunlight for azaleas, hostas, bleeding hearts and lily-of-the-valley.)
