Neat growth
Arrived in excellent health. As it grows, the newer leaves remain outstretched, like little arms. Deep red color. Just a beautiful sundew.
A rosetted sundew that's native to the coastal mountains of South Africa. It's a demure plant that grows well in a windowsill that has dappled sunlight and mild temperatures.
Type of Plant: Tropical plant for windowsill growing.
Size: 3 inches across when mature.
Sunlight: Dappled sun. Avoid hot sunlight.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Tolerant of cool temperatures but always protect from frost.

Didn't miss a beat
Arrived with dew still on the leaves. That dew mostly dried up after I unpacked it, but it came back swiftly once I put it under my T5 light fixture. I'm growing it in an office with no terrarium and it seems to be thriving. Lots of dew and the tentacles have a nice red hue. Shipping didn't slow it down at all.

This sundew is a beast
As small as this sundew is, I see it catching 3 or 4 insects on each leaf. It has even turned a nice red color for me.

Beautiful! A gorgeous plant. Is thriving well in our kitchen window. And our Cape Sundew White Leaf caught a moth this morning!

As usual my plant came in excellent condition looking much as I would suspect it would had I gone to the nursery and picked it out myself. It even had a bloom on it. I couldn't imagine ordering plants from any other place.
