Drosera spatulata

When fully grown, it is just under 2 inches in diameter, but it can reproduce itself by sending out shoots, producing a mound of multiple plants with spoon-shaped leaves. A very pretty specimen!
I really love this little Sundew. It changes every day giving me a show with its long "sprout" and jewel-like droplets. You will not be disappointed with this little gem! It was packaged with great care and planting and care instructions were solid!

Spatulata
The spatulata I received was beautiful red and healthy, and even had a bit of dew still on it. Unfortunately it didn't fare too well upon our recent Tennessee heat wave at 94 degrees, even with a week of outdoor acclimation. I noticed after it turned a muddled brownish color, then two babies we're popping up under the mum. I'm just hoping they can recover back to red or find a way to make them happy now so they don't die. But it was beautiful when I got it!

Drosera Spatulata
I've really enjoyed this so far as my first carnivorous plant. I want to keep Heliamphora eventually so I chose this as my intro to carnivores. I keep it in an open topped rimless glass aquarium with 2 inches of distilled water, like the instructions said, under a 15 watt led plant fixture. I feed it fungus gnats and fruit flies and it's been eating and growing!

First carnivorous plant buy
The plant looked fantastic when I got it and was really well packaged. It has grown little green appendages wonderfully and quickly. It hasn’t produced few yet but I think it might be sunlight limitations from being in my dorm

Beautiful plant
I bought this with another drosera (capensis) to battle fungus gnats in my seed starting project. The capensis has far outperformed this plant, although the spatula is prettier.

Plant arrived in good shape. It has grown nicely and in an expanding clump full of sticky spatulas. It sure loves sending up flower, too!
