One word describes this plant - spectacular! It has long slender red leaves that branch out multiple times, as many as 36+ points on each leaf! A fully adult plant will have leaves that are 12-16 inches long, which is why some growers keep their plants in hanging baskets. Give this plant lots of direct sunlight, and we mean lots! You cannot give this sundew too much sun. It loves growing in warm bright windowsills with lots of direct sunlight. Use supplemental lighting if necessary.

Type of Plant: Tropical plant for windowsill growing.
Size: Up to 16 inches when mature.
Sunlight: Partial to full sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Tolerant of cool temperatures but always protect from frost.

    Growing fast and can see the small flying nats and bugs it has caught. Wonderful red color. May have flowers soon.

    My D.multifida is growing some tall leaves with a ridiculous amount of dew! I placed it in my South sunny windowsill by my herbs,and it's already catching fungus gnats. Best sundew for pest control in my opinion. P.S don't forget to buy the volume 2 DVD for successful growing!

    Excellent, but small specimen. I was a bit amazed by the density of the potting medium - it seemed to be compacted tightly. However, the specimen is growing nicely under fluorescent lighting indoors.

    These are fast growers and real eye catchers. My 2 pots also came with 2 plants in each pot... thus 4 real BEAULTIES that are real eye catchers. They filled their domes and were just covered with dew. These have to be the BEST PLANTS that I have bought yet from any dealer. They are under my bank of 3 LED light rods and are just growing great.

    Actually ran across you guys at the Portland Reptile Expo and saw these plants there, got a lot of info about them (these are not my first plants) but couldn't afford them at the time. Having ordered from other cultivators I can honestly say you blokes are the only ones that package the plants with such care and concern for their trip.
