Drosera filiformis
Started growing as soon as I got it. Very nice
This sundew has long thread-like leaves, which gives this plant its common name, dewthread. Long thin leaves slowly rise, standing tall and proud. Small drops of nectar glisten ever so slightly, reflecting the sun's rays and enticing insects to taste its sweet offerings. By the end of summers, the plant is flecked with trophies of its conquests. In winter, the plant will die back and form a resting bud sitting at soil level. Growth will resume in mid-spring.
Type of Plant: Outdoor perennial for container growing.
Leaves: Up to 8 inches at maturity.
Sunlight: Partial to full sun during the growing season.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Winter: Dormant. Minimal protection in USDA zones 7-9. Mulch in colder regions.

Plants are grown outdoors at our nursery in Oregon and experience seasonal changes.
January-March: Plant is dormant in a resting bud state.
April: Spring growth will appear by the end of the month.
May: More leaves appear, but not yet full size.
June-August: Full display of dewy leaves.
September-October: Dormancy begins. Plant drops its leaves. Growth resumes in spring.
November-December: Plant is dormant in a resting bud state.

When i received my plant it was packaged very well and arrived in perfect shape. It was just coming out of dormancy. Against advice, I placed it in a terrarium for about a week then moved it in front of a sunny window. I'm slowly acquainting it with the great outdoors and full sun. We are still getting some pretty chilly nights. It is doing great!

Drosera Filiformis
Arrived very well packaged, very secure and well tended. Placed them outdoors as the day was bright and sunny. Within a few short days, the "coming out of dormancy" sundew was growing and already catching gnat type insects. Now, a month later, the sundew is about 5" long and loving our buggy environment. Thus far, the BEST nursery I've dealt with. Thank You Jeff and Jacob.

Wonderfully sticky and fast growing!
Ordered one of these lovely plants in 3/2021. It was barely above the soil. Now, in the middle of April it is steadily growing, is about 6" tall and covered with wonderfully sticky dew. At the moment, it is my favorite of my droseras (I am new to the hobby). Great plant with careful packing & shipping. Thanks!

Incredible Specimen
Upon arrival and removal from it's great packaging I received a very healthy speciment that was actually in flower. It has been out in the sun with the other carnivorous plants I have purchased from Sarracenia Northwest and it is producing a lot of dew. This one happened to have a tiny bonus sundew near the base of it that must have self seeded there.
