Great Plants as Always
I have ordered from this company many times over the years. Plants are healthy and packing is always top notch. Highly recommend.
A true American classic. Native to the coastal plains of North Carolina, this plant is often a person's first introduction into carnivorous plants. It's a small plant, rarely growing larger than 4 inches in diameter. As a US-native, this plant grows best outdoors in full sun during the growing season. In winter, it shuts down for a short rest. Growth resumes in spring.

I live in the Trenon NJ area. My collection contains six Flytraps which I purchased in September of this year. My current knowledge is mainly derived from Jacob Farin's book, which I'm glad I purchased. It contains a wealth of information. My 6 plants are still in the original supplied 3" pots, sitting in a Tupperware type container. I'm monitoring my plants daily for any changes toward dormancy, but the October temps here have been on the warm side. To date, the one thing that surprised me is how quickly the distilled water evaporates from the bottom water tray. I maintain 1 to 1.5 inches of distilled water in the tray. Going forward, looking into Spring, I need to determine if the flytraps need to be repotted. On the "fun" side my 6 year old Grandson enjoyed "feeding" the flytraps with some bugs we found under some flower pots. My next challenge will be the NJ winter. It's impossible to predict how severe of a winter we'll have.
My flytrap went dormant (I hope ) early in the season , I monitor it and can’t wait for spring, here in South Florida.
I took advantage of the BOGO and got a great deal on 2 beautiful VFTs. Arrived in excellent condition and currently thriving in their new home.

Plant looking good , under SANSI lights 8-12 hours a day inside, using rain water and will seek advice for care in the (South Florida ) winter.
Excellent flytrap! It flowered as soon as I got it, and I decided to just let it do its thing. It’s beautiful! Packaging and shipping were also top notch.
