Excellent plants.
People say they've never seen a Venus Flytrap with so many traps and more are coming up.
This variety of flytrap produces upright yellow traps. The mouths of the traps have a splash of reddish orange. It grows very vigorously and sends up multiple traps at once. It also produces larger than normal traps when it matures, up to 1 1/2 inches. Because of the long petioles, the leaves flop over due to the weight of the large traps. This is probably why it was called King Henry!
This batch are divisions from a 10-year old colony that we divided in spring. You can watch us divide the colony on our YouTube channel.

There were many semi-dormant traps still attached and all of them looked healthy. Now that the warm sun is hitting the plant, it's getting shiny and popping traps like crazy. Yay!
I bought this great plant last year. I paid for 1 plant and got 3, one main with two tiny baby ones. It grew very well and looks very nice. It has nice long petioles with big traps, mainly greenish-yellow with a tiny bit of red when it gets really hot and sunny. I re-potted it into 5x5x7 white square pot at the end of season last year and it's doing very well currently. It tried to flower, but I cut the stalk off since I want it to grow. Its traps are very comparable to my B52, though the B52 is a bit older. There are currently 5 plants, so it divides very well. Looking forward to seeing that it looks like fully matured and fill out the pot.
was very impressed with the plant as well as how it was packaged. I will definitely shop with you guys again.
Great everything. Thanx
Love the attention to packaging and quality of the plant is outstanding.
This was ordered as a reward for my son. The package arrived on time and in great condition. He opened up and read the instructions on how to open the plant packaging. The plant is still alive doing well, we learned it doesn't like to eat crickets.
I was very impressed with the time these guys took packaging my plant for shipping. It arrived as scheduled with little to no damage to the plant. I love the flytrap! My first time ordering, but definitely not my last.
This plant has started producing monsterous traps late summer, biggest traps in my collection behind my B52.
As always the plants came on time in perfect condition and health! This plant actually came with a flower stock.
Well packed. Plant was better than pictures. They actually packed 2 or 3 plants which are growing close together. I haven't had a chance to move the plant and it is growing like gangbusters in the pot it was shipped in - one month later.
While this arrived in great shape, it was noticeably much less vigorous and did not have many traps compared to my other plant. This can be attributed to the plant being in flowering stage, which I am still trying to get it to transition out of (I've trimmed the flower twice and have had it in full sun). I'm hoping to get it back to vegetative growth to see how big those traps will get, but so far they pale in comparison to the size of the common variety traps. It does seem to survive well without a terrarium, which is a big advantage with GCP's products.
