Dionaea muscipula King Henry Flytrap
This variety of flytrap produces upright yellow traps. The mouths of the traps have a splash of reddish orange. It grows very vigorously and sends up multiple traps at once. It also produces larger than normal traps when it matures, up to 1 1/2 inches. Because of the long petioles, the leaves flop over due to the weight of the large traps. This is probably why it was called King Henry!
This batch are divisions from a 10-year old colony that we divided in spring. You can watch us divide the colony on our YouTube channel.

Great plants
These plants came in great condition and have continued to do well after planting. I have one in a bathtub garden and one in a water dish on the back porch. These are the best flytraps I have ever bought and I have purchased many. I also purchased the beginners guide to carnivorous plants which is easy to read and has alot of great information.

King Henry Flytrap
This plant was in healthy condition when it arrived AND has remained that way under my care. I ‘love’ all of my flytraps purchased from Sarracenia. I strongly recommend Sarracenia for plant purchases.

Arrived quickly and packed very well. Unpack and placed in bell Jar, with old grow light. Now has three new shuts and green as emerald islands, grows very fast. Instruction are very good, and everyone should read them.
