Q/A #120 - Will Dog Pee Kill My Plants?

QUESTION:
My male dog has started peeIng on my carnivorous plants. Will it kill them?

Yes. Urine has nitrogen and minerals that will kill carnivorous plants. Flush the soil thoroughly with distilled water and rinse the leaves. Make sure to your plants your dog doesn't do that again.
