Plants are of the highest quality.

I ordered one bare root Sarracenia Rhizome, Random Selection during an offer that included shipping. I'd like to thank Sarracenia Northwest for sending two. The package arrived promptly, packed in a bubble mailing envelope, arrived in great shape and rhizomes were not crushed during transit. Roots were clean and healthy with detailed planting instructions. I previously purchased several Sarracenia that have done very, very well and am positive the new plants will do the same. Sarracenia Northwest plants are of the highest quality and 'A good beginning makes a good end'.

Great bare root sarracenia and support afterwards

Posted by David Fischer on March 2, 2014

The plants were in good condition and well packed. I planted them immediately in a just peat and perilite mix. In the heavy rains we had and the snow the peat moss washed out. When I called about this issue you were very helpful in suggesting pea gravel in the bottom and as a top dressing. It is working well. Thank you for the quality plants and the support afterwards.

    Value and Vigor!

If you don't care what Sarracenia you receive, these bareroot plants are a no-brainer! SNW-grown care in an unbeatable bargain. The rhizomes were bigger than expected with multiple growth points. Most of mine appeared to be five years old based on rhizome size. I WILL buy these again

    Thanks for the extras!

Thank you for the extra plant! While I knew it would be a random selection, I still wish there were a label indicating the species that was sent. Otherwise a great shopping experience!

It looks very good, but it's still dormant, of course. I've potted it, and it should be fine. Thanks.
