Bulk rhizomes are recent divisions (within the past 30 days) and represent a purely random selection of species and hybrids. Plants are strictly unlabeled and unidentified.
Type of Plant: Outdoor perennial for container growing.
Sunlight: Full sun during the growing season.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Winter: Dormant. Minimal protection in USDA zones 7-9. Mulch in colder regions.

Recent divisions are sold in 2-ounce packs only. The actual number of rhizomes in each pack will vary due to size and variety. We guarantee only the weight of each 2-ounce pack, not the number of rhizomes.

This was the Deal of the Year.............
I bought 7 of these bare root Sarracenia leucophylla and when they arrived..... I was so impressed with them, that I got onto the net and ordered another 7 of these bare roots. That was only a few weeks back and several of them have growth about 10 inches high..... they all have new growth on them, of course at different stages. Very pleased with them.... can hardly wait to see what they will have next winter.

Rhizome growing beautifully!
It has been about three weeks since I got my bareroot rhizome and it already has two new pitcher growths on it. I see fast growth every single day and can't wait until it reaches its full height and starts feeding! I will always be shopping with Sarracenia Northwest. :)

Awesome Plants
After winning $50 in plant point in Sarracenia Northwest’s monthly giveaway, I ordered 8 bare root rhizomes. I must say I was very impressed with the size and quality of the plants I received. In some cases they provided one larger sized division (some so large they had flower buds emerging) and in other cases they provided 3 or 4 smaller sized divisions and counted it as one plant! Overall, for $50 including shipping I added 10 four-inch-pot-sized plants and 3 six-inch-pot-sized plants to my collection. This is a great deal for some great plants!

Lots of roots
As my title says, this plant has many roots. It is also really two plants! The rhizome has an impressive size and red color. It was not worth the money, it could easily have been worth twice this amount. Great purchase!
